The BCI Advanced Business Continuity Management Certification Course (Advanced BCMC)
Course Overview
The Advanced BCMC course is designed to provide progression from the CBCI. By taking this course, you will increase your skills in assessing and determining business continuity requirements for an organisation, enhance understanding of factors in risk and solutions, and effective use of management and leadership skills within the context of business continuity.
By passing the Advanced BCMC Exam, you will get the chance to upgrade your BCI Membership to AMBCI (fees apply), a globally recognized and industry-leading certification in business continuity that will support you in job searches, career progression, and demonstrating your competency to lead in the field of business continuity.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to:
- Take the Advanced BCMC Exam
- Deepen their skills in assessing and determining business continuity requirements for an organization
- Develop and utilise understanding of effective use of management and leadership skills in the context of business continuity
- Combine the Leadership & Management competencies from BCI’s Competency Framework with the Professional Practices competencies required to implement business continuity across an organization
- Gain increased understanding of the factors that affect the development and management of effective solutions and risk mitigation
Course Outline
- Unit 1 – Developing and enabling a business continuity environment
- Unit 2 – Assessing and analysing organizational requirements for business continuity
- Unit 3 – Developing and enabling solutions
- Unit 4 – Validating and assessing business continuity arrangements
Course Duration & Conduct
Duration: 4 days (Online exam taken at your own time)
9 am – 6 pm (including 1-hour lunch break)
Conduct of course: Classroom or Online Training Available
– Classroom Training will be held in Kuala Lumpur unless otherwise stated below.
– Online Live Training will be held via Zoom
